Here's some pretty clear evidence that I was improvising the story as I went: Mike has a miracle device that can transmit a secret code into a computer, and it serves a double function as a joke. But I like this better than anything I could've planned. A little levity goes a long way in keeping the storytelling loose. It's not just because I'm lazy and impulsive that I hate a tight script!
