Remember this guy? Of course you do! He was Will's arch-rival in the Renaissance Faire story arc. What will this strange connection mean for our heroes? Almost definitely nothing at all, ever.
I am training it down to Williamsburg, Brooklyn tonight (Friday) for the Too Art For TV gallery opening reception. I've worked, lived and played with a number of the artists being showcased, and I can say confidently there'll be a lot of talent and probably some booze to boot! You ought to come by and share in this great event if you're in the area.

I don't know if you go back and read old comments, but the line "your family will always love you for the awful person they taught you to be" is really good. just thought you should know.

Thanks! I do indeed read old comments, since they show up as new in my moderation panel.

your response time to that was impressive. i almost feel guilty for waiting till i felt the need to reread the series. I am leaving in a few days and will be unable to access a computer regularly for about six months. I am really hoping to see your next chapter before i leave. Your comic does means a lot to me. Thank you.
P.S. This comic also leads me to a world of questions i want to ask you. Specifically how what happens in this comic relates to your life. Thank you again. i hope your writing is going well.

As a displaced Long Islander who loved visiting the city back when I lived in NY, this comic is awesome. The first two panels are surreal to me because I always had the exact same thing happen and I was always going to Ronkonkoma station on the way home, it's like seeing a moment of my life in comic form. Also I love that last panel like a Chiropterologist who collects baseball memorabilia loves bats!

Oh, God dammit it JUST occurred to me her name is Eve Ning
Octopus Octopi
Every couple of strips there is a reader that realizes her name is Eve Ning

Man I should’ve known Eve and Bert know eachother, what with Bert being Olly’s cuz and all. They get along surprisingly well; guess Bert really is an amazing actor, really had him pegged as an asshole.
I wonder what’s up with his girlfriend though, was her cheating on Bert part of the test of chivalry or something?

Well, yeah, it was. The whole plot involving him was a big homage to “Sir Gawain and the Green Knight,” which involves the trading of blows with time in between, and courtly love stuff involving a host’s wife.
