Owner and proprietor of Olly's Organix, a grocery store in Manhattan's east village. Very often wears the shoes of a desperate man. He's not exactly on the level, but there's something vaguely noble about his ways.

Olly makes a lot of trouble for Eve, but deep down she is his favorite employee. To torture.

Scruffy associate of Hanna's. Fiercely loyal if kind of a screw-up. Will works a lot of odds jobs, but is primarily a pot delivery boy. A surly dude, difficult to bro.

Used to date Marigold, but it ended in tears. Will and Eve have had an on-and-off thing for each other for a while, and it's starting to stress everyone out.

Eve's only real friend. Believed to be a descendent of Andy Warhol's cat, Sam. This would account for Manuel's incredible tolerance of second-hand pot smoke. Usually draped over something.

Hanna's best friend from college. Generally sweet and laid back, likes to knit, is naive to the point of frequent disillusionment. She recently broke up with Will and cut all her dreadlocks off.

Park is an overachiever with a lot of plans. Wants to believe he's got everything under control. Dated Eve in high school, then again after college. Park secured an entry-level law job in Chicago, where he's living now.

Once gave birth to Eve. She lives alone, collects 9/11 memorabilia, meddles with things. Currently wavering somewhere between hating Eve's boyfriends and wanting to be a grandma.

Greg is a dorky, self-conscious dude whose heart's in the right place. He's recently been hanging out with the stoners a lot, and has everything to prove. Really wants to be a cooler guy. Grew up with Eve, holds a mean torch.

Loyal Olly's Organix employee, and one of the few pure of heart left in New York. Somewhat impressionable and prone to hero worship. Julie is hopelessly in love with Jacob, and nobody approves.

Not-so-loyal Olly's Organix employee. Clever but hateful. Interested in the unattainable, and completely lacking in ambition in between. Jacob thinks Julie's a nice girl, but a little bit crazy.

Gwen is the girl from the block, except she's kind of a dork. Unlike the others, she can hide it when necessary. Likes daytime TV and soaps, reflects deeply on personal experience, dates lots of bad-boys.

The quiet, smiling genius. Chris takes pleasure in simplicity, but would just as happily orchestrate and lead a full-scale war. He's just like that. He also has rippling pectorals, because he can.

Eve's totally awesome ex-boyfriend. Well-meaning but really not bright. He broke up with Eve at the beginning of the comic and now he's busy doing other things.

America Jones is a classic self-proclaimed champion. She absolutely must win. Mind-bogglingly controlling and mean. She vows to someday exact her alleged revenge on Eve, though she seems to also hate Hanna nowadays.

He showed up sleeping on their couch one day. Victor needs no explanation, for there is none to give. He shall not return.

A wild parrot who was rescued in captivity by our heroes after a bout with lead poisoning. Basically just a cute bird. Has resided somewhere in the Brooklyn wilderness since his release. Everyone misses him.
