A sequel to strip #480 - So Long. Look, I won't take all the credit for predicting the most famous climate activist of our age would take to the seas. Just saying this was posted in 2014 - you do the math.
To be real, climate is an issue central to my voting, what I eat, how I spend my money, how I raise my kid... it dominates my thoughts. But personal choices aren't the real work, as most of us know by now - just a bit of therapy to keep from going insane. We need a massive, sustained movement, identifiable goals, and clear opponents. I highly recommend reading Naomi Klein's "This Changes Everything" for a comprehensive idea of the task at hand, and supporting Bernie Sanders' Green New Deal, which could be the beginning of a different path for us.

Nobody could have known it at the time, but this was Octopus Pie's last one-off page. From here on out, the only thing that will interrupt the story arcs are Eve's dreams and memories.

Yeah, I mean, the climate issue is a component of why I don't want kids at all (both from the cause side and the effect side) but voting is definitely the #1 way in which personal choices can affect the climate….
