This entire discourse sums up what I feel like is a very common post-college, early-20s experience. I started reading OC at that time in my life and it really resonated with me.
I don't think the monologue quite sounds like Eve – if nothing else, she's not one to casually leave a job – but it's hilarious and I totally find it just as sympathetic as the crowd here does.
Commenting on this years and years after the rerun to say this is still one of my favorite dramatic reveals of all time. I'm not trying to argue with your retrospective or anything, but I still this this is hilarious.
