Park is one of those people who thinks gentrification makes things nicer, and has directly benefitted from it. This would've been at the very end of anybody working at or noticing a Borders Books.
This was also right before the economy tanked, wasn't it? That "big people job" comment felt like a somewhat callous thing to say then, but now it feels unthinkably rude.
